Crittenton Wound Healing Center Stays at the Forefront of State-of-the-Art Therapies and New Research
Crittenton’s Wound Healing Center was among 40 centers across the United States to be honored with the 2010 “Front Runner” award, remaining at the forefront of wound healing.
Among the center’s accomplishments:
- The center treated nearly 3,400 patient visits
- The center provided more than 800 hyperbaric treatments
- The center achieved a heal rate of 91% in 16 weeks or less
Dr. Kevin Florek, Medical Director and Denise Kelts, Program Manager recently met with nearly 450 of their peers from around the nation at a three-day clinical symposium in Orlando, FL. where they were briefed by internationally recognized specialists on new treatment options and promising research in the field.
They also took part in hands-on training opportunities and received safety updates and clinical information on accepted standards of care. The Crittenton Wound Healing Center, part of National Healing’s nationwide network of wound care centers, whose wound outcomes are shared with wound care experts from around the world.
