As a patient coming to Crittenton Hospital Medical Center for a surgical procedure, you will be contacted by a registered nurse prior to your scheduled date for surgery. The nurse will conduct a telephone interview to obtain your health history. Some patients may need diagnostic tests prior to surgery, which can be arranged by the nurse. Tests may be done a few weeks to a few days before your surgery.
It is important to provide a complete and accurate health history, including current medications being taken. If testing or further evaluations are needed, the Pre-Admission Testing staff will coordinate this with you and your surgeon.
If you have additional questions contact Pre-Admission Testing at 248-652-5306, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
