Do you like pink? Enjoy walking? Or just support the cause to fight breast cancer? Then you should join us and hundreds of other men and women on October 2nd at 5 p.m. for Crittenton’s 14th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and Women’s Health Expo.
Our event is a 1-mile walk throughout Rochester’s beautiful downtown. Whether you are walking for a loved one, to stand up for the cure, or even for yourself, you won’t be alone at Crittenton. According to the American Cancer Society, in 2013 it is estimated that 232,340 new breast cancer cases will be diagnosed. For the past 14 years, our walk has brought together all those fighting to help raise awareness of these numbers.
Starting at our own front doors, the walk will begin in the main lobby of Crittenton. This is a FREE event! You can sign-up online or at Crittenton Hospital (staring at 4:30p.m.) We will celebrate breast cancer survivors, and honor those who cannot be with us.
New this year, don’t miss the women’s health expo after the breast cancer awareness walk! The expo will focus on prevention and healthy living. Come down to hear health talks, receive a clinical breast exam, skin cancer screens, get your flu shot for this year and much more. No preregistration is required for any of the screenings at the expo. Crittenton is here for you and your loved ones.
