Did you know that the average American spends around $800 on presents or gifts during the holidays? From the day after Halloween until Christmas Eve, there is a heavy emphasis on gifts and the superficial. This isn’t all bad! Giving our loved ones gifts is one of the ways we show our love and appreciation during the holiday season. But this year, consider the gift of health. Whether your loved ones have benefited from medical or hospital care this year, there are thousands of people in Michigan that currently need medical assistance, and not all can afford to do so.
Hospital programs are implemented to help gather donations for those in critical need of medical services they cannot afford. The Crittenton Foundation is one such program and it has altered the lives of thousands of Michigan residents.
How to give the gift of health:
- Give a loved one looking to begin exercising again a gym membership
- For family members looking for help controlling their nutrition, schedule a session with our registered dieticians where we can design a nutrition menu and schedule unique for them
- If you are able, donate to the Crittenton Foundation. Your donation of any size can make a tremendous impact during this holiday season.
Every Square Counts
The Crittenton Foundation’s Every Square Matters campaign is raising funds for Crittenton’s South Tower, the first sizeable healthcare project to use Integrated Project Delivery. This innovative building will provide a new level of patient care to those in our community. Do you have a square?
Not all gifts can be wrapped in beautiful paper or tied with a ribbon. A gift, of any size, can help save a life.
