  • Average length of stay is 12 days, and most of our patients return to their home
  • Daily physician and nurse attention due to medical need
  • Therapy is 3 hours daily; 5-7 days per week
  • Does NOT require a 3 night stay in the hospital.  Some patients even come from home

Skilled Nursing Facility

  • Average length of stay is commonly greater than 3 weeks
  • Weekly physician coverage due to medical stability
  • Offers a slower paced rehabilitation setting, good for patients who are unable to tolerate a more intensive program
  • Requires a 3 night stay in the hospital to be eligible under Medicare guidelines
