Preparing for Breastfeeding Class

Breastfeeding provides the best nutrition for infants as well as a unique relationship between mother and baby.  This class will answer your questions and help you get off to the best possible start as a nursing mother. Topics include: Positioning and latching on How to know if baby is eating well breast care pumping returning to work and all the breastfeeding secrets to success A registered nurse/certified lactation consultant teaches the class. Registration includes both mom and her partner or a support person. Some insurance plans may reimburse you for the cost of this class; please check with your health insurance provider.

Our online childbirth class is ideal for busy, expectant parents. Young Expectant Parent Class

This class is specifically designed for young women (ages 20 and under) who are expecting their first baby.  This class will prepare the expectant mother for labor and delivery.  We will also provide guidance on pregnancy, parenting and available resources.  Class should be completed between the 24th to 34th week of pregnancy.  Expectant mothers are encouraged to bring one or two support people.  Please bring a blanket, pillows, and snacks/drinks for the day. Class is free, you will be contacted for insurance information. Free diapers will be given at the completion of the class.
