Tai Chi - Advanced

Tai Chi movements are low-impact and gentle.  Recent studies have found that tai chi’s slow, graceful exercise, which originated centuries ago as a martial art, can improve balance, reduce stress and offer arthritis pain relief. This Tai Chi class is for participants who have taken the course previously and want to keep up with their movements. Minimum of 4 participants required. Wear loose and comfortable clothes, bring water, and no floor mat required

Dinner with a Doc - Keeping Your Kids Safe in 2016

Dr. Heather Binasio, MD will be speaking on injury prevention for kids of all ages!  Learn how to anticipate and protect your child from both usual and uncommon dangers in the home.  Topics will include sleep, toys, medication, water safety, fall prevention, TV/Furniture accidents, heatstroke and choking.  Bring your stories and challenges to discuss. Dr. Binasio graduated from Michigan State University and Wayne State University’s School of Medicine.  Last year, she joined Kidz 1st Pediatrics in Rochester Hills.
