Tai Chi from the Arthritis Foundation is designed for people of varied ages and physical abilities seeking a gentle exercise routine, including people with mild to moderate arthritis using Sun style Tai Chi, one of the four major recognized styles of Tai Chi. This style includes agile steps and exercises that may improve mobility, balance, breathing and relaxation. The movements don't require deep bending or squatting, which makes it easier and more comfortable to learn. Practicing Tai Chi has also been credited with improved musculoskeletal strength and cardiovascular health and is a safe and effective way for people to maintain bone density. 8-week course.
