This 8 hour class covers the fundamental concepts regarding First Aid and CPR and is designed for people needing certification for employment. Persons who commonly take this class include teachers, personal trainers, lifeguards, and athletic coaches.  Bleeding, shock, splinting, and burns will be covered as well as adult, child, and infant CPR and use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED). An American Heart Association course completion card will be issued to participants at the end of the session.
