The goal of the PALS course is to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes. The course is designed for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, respiratory therapists and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support for pediatric emergencies. The PALS Refresher program is designed for persons who have attended a PALS training program in the past and are looking to have their credential renewed. Upon successful completion of a written exam and MegaCode, a 2 year American Heart Association PALS Provider card will be issued.
