The Community Health & Education Department offers a variety of classes, programs and support groups. Topics include CPR & Safety classes, Diabetes Management classes, Dinner with a Doc Cardiovascular Series, Weight Management, Lifeline Medical Alert Services, Orthopaedic Education Series, 1 - STOP Screening, Parenting classes, Puberty Classes, Prepared Childbirth classes, HypnoBirthing classes, Safe Babysitter classes, Smoking Cessation Classes, Tai Chi and various Support Groups.

Class Cancelation Policy:
If you cannot attend a class/program you have registered for, please let us know as soon as possible so that someone else may attend as space is limited for each class/program. No refunds can be given if cancelation is less than five days prior to the class. In the case of inclement weather, please call the main switchboard at 248-652-5000 for the latest update. Crittenton Hospital Medical Center reserves the right to cancel/reschedule a class/program due to low enrollment.
The Crittenton Wellness Center at the Older Person's Commission:
Services focus on wellness, prevention and education by providing "ask the nurse" Monday thru Friday, screenings and educational presentations. For more information, go to www.opcseniorcenter.org or call the Wellness Center at 248-601-2888.
PSA Testing:
Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is a protein produced by cells of the prostate gland. The PSA test measures the level of PSA in the blood. PSA levels can show if an individual has prostate related diseases.
Hearing Screening:
Audiology department offers free Hearing Screens, Otoscopic Examination (ear wax inspection), and hearing aid trials by calling 248-652-5528.
