Not All Heroes Wear Capes: Celebrating Crittenton Physicians

Caring, Compassion, Community.  These three words come to mind for Crittenton physicians. Every day, our Crittenton physicians stand ready for those in our community in a time of need.  Their skills save lives, and their compassionate care makes a difference for patients and families.

Recently, the husband of a Crittenton patient honored their physician with a donation to the Foundation. They had never been to Crittenton, until his wife had a seizure at a nearby restaurant.  Frantic and scared, they were rushed to our facility. Not only was he “blown away” by the treatment his wife received, but also by the way he was cared for as a family member.  These stories are regular occurrences at Crittenton because of our physicians and healthcare team—stories of caring, compassion, and community.

On March 30th, Crittenton is celebrating National Doctor’s Day; a day to recognize the contributions of doctors to individual lives in our community. On behalf of the all the individuals and families impacted by our physicians, we thank you for making a difference in the lives of others.

We invite you to join us in expressing gratitude by writing a letter or making a donation to the Crittenton Foundation in honor of your physician.  You can do so by sending a note of gratitude to the Crittenton Foundation, 1101 W. University Drive, Rochester, MI 48307.  Please indicate who you would like to recognize for the outstanding care they have provided you or your family. Remembering that not all heroes wear capes, we invite you to read amazing stories from patients, donors, physicians and community members on our website, www.crittenton.com/foundation/our-stories/.
