Meet Robin. He found himself at the Crittenton Shelton Heart Center’s diagnostic clinic one morning for a routine heart stress test, prescribed by his doctor after an annual physical. But when the routine test showed results that were not routine, Crittenton’s cardiac team jumped into action.
Instead of being sent home, Robin was encouraged to stay for further testing, including inserting a catheter in his arm for an up close view of his heart. Because of these steps, Crittenton’s cardiac team was able to identify threatening blockage that required almost immediate heart bypass surgery.
