Ascension Crittenton hosts Future Leader Dogs

Ascension Crittenton Hospital hosted its first Leader Dogs for the Blind puppy training class last month. About a dozen puppies and puppy raisers utilized the hospital facility to practice working in public areas by using stairs, elevators and more. As part of its partnership with Leader Dog, ACH plans to host more classes as well as working sessions with clients as part of the training that occurs when people who are blind or visually impaired are first partnered with a Leader Dog and learning to work together as a team.
