For more than 40 years, Crittenton has worked to “enhance the health status of the individuals and communities we serve inpartnership with our physicians, employees, and community members.” In pursuit of this mission, Crittenton makes a continual effort to promote a new level of focused, patient-centered healing. “We take our role as a healthcare provider for this community very seriously. Our goal is to provide better outcomes through better options for care administered by a staff dedicated to patient satisfaction,” explains Jeff Kapuscinski, Director of Marketing and Communications at Crittenton. “Understanding the needs of our community now and in the future drives our planning and growth strategies.”
IN GOOD COMPANY
Crittenton is an independent hospital, choosing to pursue strategic partnerships in lieu of corporate stewardship. This approach has led to strong working relationships with the University of Michigan and Wayne State University. These affiliations allow Crittenton to provide patients access to leading treatments and technologies for a wide range of health concerns. Additionally, Crittenton works with Rochester Community Schools to meet the health needs of students across the district. A Crittenton nurse works directly
with schools in the community to help ensure the health needs of all students are met.
Through these key affiliations and outreach programs, Crittenton is redefining the phrase “community hospital.” “While many think of this phrase in relation to a facility’s size, at Crittenton it stands for an unprecedented level of involvement in the area we serve,”
Kapuscinski says.
YOUR DESTINATION FOR QUALITY CARE
Through professional development and quality control initiatives, Crittenton puts a premium on customer satisfaction. As the hospital explores new ways to expand services and create a positive healing environment for patients, one principle remains
fundamental—the commitment to improve.
“At Crittenton, we strive for continuous improvement. Complacency is nonexistent,” Kapuscinski adds. “Our work never ends, and there are countless ways we seek to make our care more convenient and the health experience more rewarding for the people who matter most—our patients.”
